Mastercard Transforms the Way Soccer Fans Connect with their Passion during CONMEBOL Copa America Brasil 2019

With Mastercard, Newlinkers sure have their head in the game! Since the beginning of the year, we partnered with Mastercard to help them leverage one of their most important sponsorship assets in the region, the CONMEBOL Copa America Brasil 2019.

Our corporate strategy team worked with Mastercard to create and execute a holistic communications campaign, to reaffirm Mastercard’s commitment to connecting fans and athletes in Latin America to their greatest passion, soccer as well as amplify their efforts to promote the expansion of Contactless payments in the region. The team assured the region was fully aligned by developing a unifying narrative, organizing a trophy tour and media program, coordinating influencer and ambassador collaborations, amplifying the campaign through digital and traditional channels,  and creating toolkits for a seamless execution in the region.

Throughout the year, the region was able to accomplish 445 article publications with a total reach of 237.1 million, as well as 992 social media mentions and 1.9 million video views.
