Oscar Girola works with Newlink’s clients on leadership alignment, cultural integration, business strategy, and board advisory projects.
He has forged his professional career at consumer product, advertising, financial services, and consulting companies. Oscar served as president and CEO of American Express Argentina, consumer marketing head for Argentina & Uruguay at Citibank, marketing director at Beecham Inc., product manager at Colgate Palmolive, group product marketing manager at The Gillette Co., and group account director at Casares, Grey Advertising. In the consulting area, he was a member of KPMG’s Advisory Board and leadership and talent development consultant at Korn Ferry International.
He earned a degree in business administration from Universidad Católica Argentina and pursued post-graduate studies at the University of Miami (Country Managers Program), the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth (Hypercompetition, Executive Program), the London Business School (Business in the New Economy, Executive Program), and Universidad de San Andrés (Diploma in History).
Oscar was a professor of marketing in Universidad Católica Argentina’s Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences and Action Learning Program coordinator at the Schulich School of Business at Canada’s York University.
