After several years without a consistent global positioning, MINI had lost its essence in Mexico and Latin America. The biggest challenge was to give the brand a renewed voice — one that felt current and relevant for today’s consumers — while bringing back its iconic status and the distinctive “Go-Kart feeling” that set it apart from competitors.

The global “Big Love” campaign was adopted and localized for Latin America, turning MINI into a brand that became part of fans’ and users’ everyday lives across the region. The strategy highlighted deeply local cultural themes and moments of daily life, particularly through people’s love for their pets. The launch of new versions, including the MINI Electric, further strengthened the brand’s emotional connection with consumers.

Results

The campaign established a regional presence with a global idea that remained both relevant and consistent over time. It also built a strong community around the brand through the MINIACS, creating long-lasting engagement and loyalty.
