Pablo Querol

Latin America CEO and Country Manager for Argentina

Pablo Querol is in charge of defining and leading Newlink's strategies for Latin America together with the consultancy’s president and CEO Sergio Roitberg. Based in Buenos Aires, he works directly with Newlink’s leadership teams across Latin America.

With an extensive career at mass consumer goods and services giants in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Mexico and Peru, Pablo has gained a wealth of experience in brand, communications and sustainability strategies, as well as in public and legal affairs.

In 2004, Pablo joined LAN, a few years before the Chilean airline merged with Brazilian rival TAM to become LATAM Airlines. His last position at the airline was Vice President of Corporate Affairs. In 2015, he was headhunted by the world's largest brewing company, AB InBev, as Vice President of Legal and Corporate Affairs, first for South America from Argentina to Ecuador and then for Middle America from Mexico to Peru, where he led the regulatory approval and communication of AB InBev and SAB Miller, the second largest corporate merger in history.

Pablo began his professional life as a journalist for La Nación newspaper in Buenos Aires, where he also worked as an independent editor and radio host. Trained in communication sciences (University of Buenos Aires, UCES) and management (IAE Business School), he also completed seminars on management, sustainability and reputation at Stanford University. He speaks English, Portuguese and Spanish.
