Newlink, the most awarded spanish agency at 2020 FIP

Newlink is named "Best Agency of the Year" and receives 8 additional awards. The consulting agency received 5 Gold FIPs, 2 Bronze and 1 Grand Prix award in multiple categories

Madrid, January 13, 2021. Newlink, the global connection consulting firm, was the most awarded Spanish agency in the last edition of the Marketing, New Techniques of Communication, Innovation and Events International Festival (FIP), where it received a total of 9 Awards: 1 Grand Prix, 5 Gold FIPs, 2 Bronze and the special award for Best Agency of the Year.

Despite the fact that 2020 was an extremely hard year for everyone, Newlink joins the collective effort that society and companies have made. Even in these circumstances, Newlink managed to connect many brands with their purpose, reaching millions of people through innovative solutions.

In this sense, Olivier Vallecillo, CEO of Newlink Spain says that “from Newlink we have managed to adapt to these circumstances, discovering our aptitude for resilience and coming out stronger in the face of adversity. This can only be achieved by having the best committed team and being flexible in this new situation. Newlink's most awarded FIP project was “Johnnie & Letras”, for Johnnie Walker. For this project, led by the Consumption and Lifestyle team, different events were organized for almost a month in different places, to get Millennials to rediscover Madrid’s “Barrio de las Letras”. The  events ranged from concerts to poetry jams and walking tours through the most emblematic places in this area of the capital.

The project managed to reach a total of 3 Gold FIPs in different categories: "Best Promotional Marketing", "Best Celebration Party or Annual Party Event" and "Best Press and Public Relations Action".

Besides, Newlink obtained another Gold award in the category of "Best Convention, Business Meeting or Most Outstanding Congress" for putting together the annual Mahou San Miguel convention, an event held at the WiZink Center in Madrid, to which more than 1,800 distributors attended physically and 900 via streaming. With the slogan ¨The future we want¨, a 3-day event was held where it was possible to convey the company's future plans and strengthen the pride of belonging for all its staff.

The fifth Gold award went to the campaign carried out for ANAR Foundation, It’s not applause, in the ¨Best Solidarity Marketing¨ category, whose conceptualization and distribution was carried out by Newlink, and whose objective was to raise awareness among the population about child abuse during the lockdown.

The consulting firm also received two Bronze FIPs, one in the category of ¨Best New Technologies Applied to Visual Communication and Scenography of an Event¨ with the launch of the product Lidl Skin Foodies through a virtual event, and the other in¨Best Platform Content for Social Networks or Apps¨ category, with the digital campaign “More Quokka than a Quokka”.
Tanqueray Nº Ten campaign took the Grand Prix for the “Best Food Products Brand Experience” by developing an immersive sensory experience for Key Opinion Leaders and consumers.
